PARENTS' INVOLVEMENT
SOCIAL GET-TOGETHER
At least one family get-together will be planned per year. These events are especially important for the child as they provide him with the opportunity of sharing with the family, the school, the teacher and friends.
LADIES' COMMITTEE
At the welcoming party for new children, new mothers are encouraged to join the Ladies' Committee. This committee raises funds which are used solely for special projects which improve the quality of the school's facilities, and provide the opportunity for new moms to socialise and meet other mothers.
The final decision regarding functions and fundraising methods will always be made by the leadership of the school and the Board of Management.
LIBRARY

The Ladies' Committee runs the school library on Thursdays (Juniors) and Fridays (Seniors).

Each child selects a book and takes it home to "read" for a week.

Books are costly, and not always easily replaced. If a book is lost, please approach the class teacher.
 CREATIVE EFFORT
Please make a point of displaying your child's art. Recognition of his or her creative effort is very important.
WASTE
The School has good use for all your "junk" - sturdy cardboard boxes, bottle tops, cotton reels, clean empty food, soap or other plastic and cardboard containers, old Christmas & birthday cards, magazines and other materials which may be useful. We would like such items to be brought to school, but on a Monday only, please.
